What we collect
Your email address, your child's first name, and the sidekick name you chose. That's it.
We deliberately collect nothing else about your child — no surname, birthday, gender, photos, or location. You are our customer and the only person we communicate with; Storysend is a service for parents and guardians, not for children directly.
What we use it for
Names are merged into stories. Your email receives the stories you signed up for, plus service emails (receipts, renewal reminders). If you take the free trial, we'll send a small number of follow-up emails about subscribing, and you can opt out of those with one click at any time.
Payment
Handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Who else touches the data
Brevo (our email provider) processes your email address to deliver stories. Our server is hosted by DigitalOcean in London. We use Anthropic's Claude to help write story templates — your child's name is never sent to it; names are merged into stories on our own server.
How long we keep it
While you're subscribed, plus 12 months in case you return. Ask us to delete everything at any time: [email protected], done within 30 days.

Access, correction, deletion, portability, complaint to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Just email us.
